I am back after 7 1/2 months of life

I am back and I am raring to blog.  I have been gone but I have been busy. I did not get to Spain.  I went to Alaska, I took a photography class, I did some decorating in my house, started Tweeting, created (with help) an iPhone app, started a serious gym workout habit, and I even started baking homemade from scratch artisan bread.  I have read a few books and bought many.  Add to my list of things I want to accomplish, besides my book Life and Love in La Mancha, I want to work on a family cookbook of my mother and grandmother's Spanish recipes, my in-laws Southern and Louisiana recipes. I also want to make some special kaleidoscopes for special people. I started a new blog, like I have the time, My Glamorous Life as a S@HM.

The video my mother brought back of my grandmother talking about her life was fantastic.  I am planning on going to visit her in June (this is a must) to get stories.  I discovered that my great grandmother was a very interesting modern woman in her time and I would love to hear more about that.  Stay tuned.

I will also be sharing some of my 14yo daughters wonderful drawings and maybe even a few recipes...
